People don't always see foundations because they are underground, so much of the apostolic leader's work goes unseen or unrewarded. (Ephesians 4:11) The Apostolic leader is not easily distracted or influenced by gifts. The Apostolic unction can be lost. Since his work is foundational, the apostolic leader not only gives direction but compels others to follow and to build upon what has been founded. The purpose of the leadership Institute is to prepare men and women for Public Sector Leadership. People who are equipped to manage the much needed change / transformation that we want God to bring to our leadership systems and governance.  Cases that readily come to mind are those of the Airforce Boss who was a Christian. He did not understand diplomacy. He did not spend money to execute projects because he did not want money to be stolen and because of that he failed.  The other case was in Plateau State where the Christian leader delegated because he could not manage funds. He did not engage diplomacy as well because any idea that did not originate from him was trashed. He did not welcome superior arguments because they were not taught diplomatic engagement in leadership and governance. God need dynamic and flexible leaders. Diplomacy was seen as sin by the church. There are some seasons in life, is your phase of experimentation, you get to phase in life you are now experimenting, you know what will work, you know what will not work, you get to another phase in life there is an instinct of the spirit, you just know it, even when the spirit is telling you to do some things that look ridiculous you follow; so you look at your phase in life and as a public sector leader those are two major things you need to consider; so you now check which part of society, you will see how your answers varied based on where you are per time; the philosophy of life therefore will be subject to change, because your sector in the society will change, your phase will change; your perspective to money will help you to go and re-process your conversations.  So you look at Daniel, what happens to Daniel? DEALING WITH PROBLEMS IN LEADERSHIP:        Many people and organisations do not understand the concept of leadership. The concepts they have about leadership are ungodly. For example:  1. They think leadership is by election: They think that the election makes you a leader. So many people are elected by dubious means. Some are elected for wrong reasons which completely negate the fact that they are leaders whether in the church or in the community. So the process of election does not justify that the elected are leaders. (Acts1:15-26).     2. VISIONARY LIVING A Leader must live a visionary life. Leadership is work (i.e. service). Vision is work related. A visionary life is noted by what you do (i.e. your work). A visionary life enables you attain 5 things: You live an organized life.  Your life is programmed – Psalm 31:5. You are delivered from wasting (Ephesians 5:15). A visionary life enables you plan and work in accordance with time. Timing is important for visionary living (Habakkuk 2:2) Vision is the answer to the issues of life. You become a problem solver. From the above stated, what should dictate one’s life is vision. Five crucial things tied to a visionary life include: Work: We are created to work. What makes one relevant on earth is work.
