3 Relationships a Leader Must Have!
The purpose of the leadership Institute is to prepare men and women for Public Sector Leadership. People who are equipped to manage the much needed change / transformation that we want God to bring to our leadership systems and governance.
Cases that readily come to mind are those of the Airforce Boss who was a Christian. He did not understand diplomacy. He did not spend money to execute projects because he did not want money to be stolen and because of that he failed.
The other case was in Plateau State where the Christian leader delegated because he could not manage funds. He did not engage diplomacy as well because any idea that did not originate from him was trashed. He did not welcome superior arguments because they were not taught diplomatic engagement in leadership and governance. God need dynamic and flexible leaders. Diplomacy was seen as sin by the church. They did not understand what Jesus meant by let your Nay be Nay and your Yay be Yay.
Pastors lack what it takes to connect with leaders. Leaders in the political space do not go to church regularly. When they manage to come, they are treated like Demigods.
There was Odua Association I was always invited to preach in their meetings. It was not a church. Other preachers made them feel over important and watered down their messages to be politically correct. Many pastors do not know how to handle people in Leadership.
All of these challenges gave flesh to the vision of transformational Leadership strategies the Lord gave to me ( Apostle). There were consultations from Sokoto to Port Harcourt, then to move to Abuja to set up a leadership church.
Experiment in America: House Church @ 10am for your friends in an informal setting with food, snacks and drinks after.
Leadership in public spaces and in politics was never taught in regular churches.
It is high time we went back into governance. The few that ventured into politics were abandoned. No pastor followed up on them. They were left alone and they did lots of abominable things and failed.
There are three relationships that are a must for a leader and these are
1.A Pastor
2.A Prophet
3.An intercessor,
Your pastor must be someone who understands the dynamics of leadership.
