Knowing What to Do!

It is my responsibility as commanded from scripture to ensure that you understand discernment, The Bible says the priest must teach, that is the responsibility, and that is what we have been doing.
We opened up the story of Rebecca, Jacob, and Esau and the dynamics of discernment from them, we just raised some questions, “Why didn’t Esau engage the mother when Isaac had spoken to him - this is what my father said?” he just wanted to live alone, that is why we are in network. So if you see things happening in your life you can trace it, you can process, you can just know that this thing is a harvest, this is happening because you have done this before. The Bible in Proverbs 24 says “if you forbear to deliver those who have been appointed to death does God not know?”, so if you give an excuse - no problem, they will take your excuse, but on the day you need help too, people will be giving excuses to you.
So if you want to change things - the harvest you will get, you start changing your seeds from now, you just start. The Esau man was a loner, he wanted to run alone - he left his mother, left his brother, he didn’t involve anybody so he lost consequently. We saw Rebecca who had a well thought out plan, How old where these boys? by now they were forty years old, before they were born God spoke to her: let’s say from the time they were “zero years old” God had spoken to Rebecca, so for forty years Rebecca was meditating on how to transfer the blessing that is culturally due for somebody else to Jacob, for forty years she has processed it, then she called Jacob and said “I heard your father saying”- Isaac didn’t know that God had already revealed it to Rebecca , the man spoke personally to his son but Rebecca overheard, why did she hear? God told her forty years ago and since she did not disclose it to her husband, she had the responsibility now to ensure that whatever happens, the blessing must not go to the wrong person but to the right person.  The man Isaac was close to death - why is he talking like this, is he about to die? so anytime he calls Esau she will go close; that was a serious assignment that she did for herself, so don’t underrate people; again God does not repeat things, God can confirm but he will not repeat, God speaks once - you hear twice: he confirms he doesn’t repeat.
These are the things we are learning in discernment, every time you discover that things are happening and you are not in charge, take a break. You need to know that you are the target of Satan, the devil doesn’t waste his resources killing useless people: those who have not discovered destiny, he is looking for people who he knows are catalysts. You are very critical, I don’t care if people don’t need you now, one day they will need you, your own day will come, that is the truth your day must come: there is a day that is appointed to every man, your season must come, instead of looking for that season - prepare, that season will come so start preparing yourself. The day your season comes and you fail, it is worse. You may not get a second chance and people will just write you off as a failure, the Bible says you have need of patience, don’t worry be patient, patiently wait for it, when the farmer sows a seed he waits for that seed to germinate, he must wait; you wait, relax, just be preparing and when your season comes people will just see you shine because you have prepared for the season well.
So we saw the story of Ahab and Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat had an alliance with an evil person because of marriage; so marriage was what confused Jehoshaphat despite all the righteousness of his life, marriage broke him because he married the wrong person, he married somebody who had a covenant with darkness, these things are very deep, if you don’t discern them, you will just stubble into stuff and all your life is sold out to the devil, you see people start struggling and they are going around in circles, they go from one church house to another; it is not about going to a good church, it is about a covenant.
Isaiah 28 “Your covenant with death shall be dishonored and your agreement shall not stand” God is not interested in keeping you in darkness, we have discussed that the things that are revealed belongs to us and they are freely given. If you see things happening that are not good then you are the one who decides to take proactive steps to adjust it, and they are adjustable because God has given us what it takes. if you want to deal with it take a look at history; go and do research first of all, the research will give you an indication, you will know if you have the capacity to deal with what you have seen, if you are capable, you process it and you go back to God in prayer “counsel in the heart of a man is like deep waters” life is deep, only understanding will help you to bring it out; you have to process things, be in charge, take control.
