DISCERNMENT IN LEADERSHIP (Part 1)

God was speaking to a company of angels, a company of spiritual men, a company of people made perfect, spirits that are made perfect. In Hebrews Chapter 12 the Bible says when we come to the mountain of God we have not come unto the Mountain of Sinai that is fearful to touch: you cannot approach. Mount Zion is a celebration place; Mount Sinai is a fearful place. There are different revelations of God so you need to understand where you are, when you come to Mount Sinai that is where you are going to get the law and God who is going to give you the law is not going to be smiling at your face, he is going to be looking at you straight and talk to you, but when you come to the Mount of celebration then you can build a temple and all of you can eat and drink and dance, that is Zion: they are two different things. 

God was calling a meeting and Ahab was on the agenda, Ahab didn’t know. May you not be ignorant of what heaven is communicating about you. it is critical that you build your spirituality to the level that when there is a discussion in the heavens, you are aware. ”And the Lord said, “Who shall persuade Ahab that he may go up and fall at Ramon Gilead?” so God had defined the destination where he will die. I preached a message last year and I said “Don’t die in the wrong place; there are angels that are meant to carry your body. if God has destined you to die here that is where He will send the angels to, if you die somewhere else there will be no angel to carry you; so God defined that he wanted Ahab dead on Ramón Gilead and one said on this manner, and another said on that manner, so there was multiple talk going on in heaven yet there was no amplification to him on earth, he was so spiritually dull that his sensitivity could not catch what was happening to him in heaven, that is an error for a king. So you can understand that Ahab had not been praying, he had not been reading his scriptures, he had not been fellowshipping with God. If he was fellowshipping with God at least he should have known there was a discussion and an agenda in heaven. 

So what is the realm of the spirit saying about you? Do you know? Are they telling you to hold on? Are they telling you to take a step further? What are they telling you? You cannot live your life on earth without understanding what the realm of the spirit is saying else you are going to be at the mercy of everything and whatever blows will affect you, why? Because you are ignorant, heaven is communicating but you do not perceive it.

“And it came to pass when Ahab heard these words, (that he was going to die) that he rent his clothes put on sack clothes upon his flesh and fasted and lay in sack clothes and went softly, and then came forth a spirit and the spirit stood forth and said “I will persuade him”, and the Lord said “how?” And the spirit said “I will go forth and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets” you have a prophet that is lying to you and you do not know that he is lying to you; that means your frequency is a frequency of lies. 

When God already said “I want to destroy this man”, who do you support, the man or God? So when you see that the man himself does not perceive what heaven is doing, you can only fold your hands and watch him - simple, but when you see the man asking questions then... 

So I need you to wake up to this reality, because in leadership one of the greatest difficulty people have is understanding what God is saying and doing. So people do guess work; they are not working by certainty, they are not working by assurances so they are not bold, they are not courageous, so it is important for you to know; so when you see that heaven has said yes then you can relax but when heaven says no that is when you ought to pray the prayer of importunity. In Luke Chapter 14 Jesus shared a story; a woman came to a king, and said to the king or to the judge, “I have an adversary” the woman came again and said “I have an adversary”, the man said “if I do not avenge this woman she will weary me” that is the prayer of importunity; insistence based on urge, based on need. That is the kind prayer that you do.
