  Our work is the avenue through which we acquire resources to sustain life. If your work is not sufficient to sustain your needs then life will be very stressful.   It is not a gain saying that most leaders particularly Africans who come in to public leadership within the secular leave so much to be desired. The issue is that the church other than the Roman Catholics put a deliberate effort to prepare believers for secular leadership. Vey many Christian in secular leadership have the following among other things: Loose fellowship and relationship with a spiritual mentor No culture of mentoring their followers with an intention to hand over to the coming generation. Hardly do they go to church except on festive occasions Scarcely devote a small portion of their time and resources like money to kingdom spiritual activities like fasting, Bible study, prayers, pilgrimage to mention a few.
