How Money affects Leadership
Revelation 5:10 “He has made us unto God kings…” many Christians want to create the impression and are always diverting the attention of people from prosperity and power believing it is not Godly and hereby making people believe that the key for making heaven is poverty, forgetting the fact that we are made unto God as kings because God himself that created us in his image is full of riches and prosperity in abundance.
Christians are supposed to be in the public sector first, we are supposed to be in leadership and in rulership first before we start thinking of praying for people. Praying for people is secondary, people you have not guided; it will be difficult to pray for them. But we have changed the narrative, we are praying for people before we guide them which is very wrong, a person who does not know the meaning of prayers being prayed will not take it seriously.
The order is that He has made us unto our God kings and then priest then we can reign on the earth so our rulership on the earth is dependent on kingships and once we miss these two factors we suffer. A righteous man shall have pity over humans and animals. If we want to reign on the earth we must target multiplying of churches as secondary and participating in civil service as primary.
Revelation 5:11 “I beheld and heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beast and the elders and the numbers of them were thousands of thousands and they said worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive power...” Without the measure of this power we are deficient. We need a combination of power depending on our roles and platforms. When we have power we will make progress but without the power we would be sweating, the world will look to us and without power we cannot help the world. No matter what you are passing through, you will survive because some people have passed through more difficult situations and they survived.
There is a mindset you just need to have and work with that no matter what anyone is doing you will survive. I don’t know what your situation is, it looks like you are the only lonely person and things do not appear to go the way you expect them to, don’t worry :there is a timing of God you just continue to pray and do your work rightly, things will definitely work for you one day. Just try to hang on in your trying time and don’t fail. Be courageous enough to hang on because things are going to turn around very speedily. Our hope is not in men, our hope is in God so you keep your prayers, you keep your worship, and you keep your fasting. Don’t complain that God has not answered, God is still God. Remember the Israelites that had been slaves for 430 years, even with everything they were going through, they still trusted God to the extent that they put a baby inside a basket and put it in a flowing river and the water did not carry the basket away. Live your life believing and trusting God and he will show up because God is bigger than your mind. What you need is faith, never allow the devil to paint any picture in your mind and you believe it, just focus on God.
Revelation 5:12 “Worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive power and riches...” To have victory you need riches. Riches here mean wealth, if you don’t have riches you will be limited. Riches that is running over. 2 Corinthians 8:9 “For you know the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ that though he was rich and yet for my sake he became poor that me through his poverty I will be rich” We are dealing with a rich God so therefore Christians should retire from this poverty mindset they have. Jesus did not triumph with poverty. 2 Chronicles 18:1 “Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honor in abundance...”
The church is poor because no Christian wants riches, because many Christians believe that only poor people can make heaven. When you get to heaven you would be shocked at how many riches are in heaven.
The fact that you are poor in your pocket does not mean you are destined for that kind of poverty. When you change your poverty mentality, you have value. Revelations 4:11 “Thou art worthy Oh Lord to receive glory, power and honor for you have created all things for your pleasure” Not poverty, not scarcity. Position your mind and see what God will do for you. Let’s keep praying and let’s keep working. People had abundance of gold in the Bible. Psalm 50:10 “For every beast of the forest is mine and the cattle upon a thousand hills...” “They shall call the people unto the mountains there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness for they shall suck the abundance of the sea and treasures hidden in the sand” Deuteronomy 33:19.
Many people have a lot of beautiful ideas and things to do but the limitation is money. When God changes our story it will be like a dream because our eyes will be open to some things we never imagined existed. 1 Kings 10:27 “And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones”. Riches are on earth and many people are enjoying it in abundance and it is not a crime to dwell in abundance. When you climb into leadership you will see abundance but ensure you utilize it well .
