Discernment in Leadership (Part 2)

It is important for you to know and follow what heaven is saying then it becomes easy for you to lead.  When you are going for a business deal and you know that it is yours no matter how much they try to discourage you, you stay on it because you have heard what heaven is saying, but if it is not yours, you won’t even go there in the first place. So you need to interpret actions, you need to interpret situations; some people say every disappointment is a blessing? Is every obstacle a stepping stone or a warning from God to go back? How do you know? You have to be able to discern, once you cannot discern - you cannot know. You either go to a higher prophet and if the higher prophet doesn’t know, it is left for you to insist on God and say “God, I have spoken to you about this thing, you didn’t tell me, you have not told me and I know you didn’t forget, but if you forgot I am reminding you, so you have to talk” You insist, you entreat, you importunate and God will speak t...

DISCERNMENT IN LEADERSHIP (Part 1) A Sermon excerpt by Dr Martins Atanda God was speaking to a company of angels, a company of spiritual men, a company of people made perfect, spirits that are made perfect. In Hebrews Chapter 12 the Bible says when we come to the mountain of God we have not come unto the Mountain of Sinai that is fearful to touch: you cannot approach. Mount Zion is a celebration place; Mount Sinai is a fearful place. There are different revelations of God so you need to understand where you are, when you come to Mount Sinai that is where you are going to get the law and God who is going to give you the law is not going to be smiling at your face, he is going to be looking at you straight and talk to you, but when you come to the Mount of celebration then you can build a temple and all of you can eat and drink and dance, that is Zion: they are two different things.  God was calling a meeting and Ahab was on the agenda, Ahab didn’t know.
